Vlatacom Verification Station

verification station

Vlatacom Verification Station is a stationary, self-service kiosk that verifies the authenticity of documents and the identity of the document's holder through biometric matching and document analysis.

The market demands both multiple biometric data in ePassports and the infrastructure to read and validate this data. Vlatacom designed this station to read new electronic documents and use the facial and/or fingerprint information stored in a contactless chip of such a document in order to verify the holder's identity by matching this data to the data captured live on the station.

The system is designed as a self-verification kiosk-type application for unhabituated users, while operator only monitors the process and controls multiple stations. The security setting of the control panel is flexible to allow different security levels. The biometric verification is very fast (approximately one second) and enables a high passenger flow. The Verification Station takes advantage of state of the art finger, 2D face and 3D face verification technologies from industry leaders in each segment.

The verification station can be configured to include reading of the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) of a passport or a full page scanning. Another option is to include ticket printer for the verification result.
