Border control
Border Control System collects passengers' demographic and biometric data and stores the data on entry, residence and exit from the country in the central database. Using queries in the central control lists (criminals, missing persons, invalid documents etc.), the system enables complete control of entries and exits of passengers.
Vlatacom Automated ID Registration System consists of the following components:
- Border workstations (located at border crossings to collect information of arrival or departure of passengers; every workstation is equipped with VDR)
- Local acquisition server for local data storage and processing
- Central acquisition server for data storage and processing
- Telecommunication equipment used to connect all workstations to acquisition center
